Our desire is to develop:
1. A deeper devotion to Christ and the reality of prayer as we live in dependence on the Lord.
2. Build a confidence in Biblical truth through principled study methods.
3. To understand the reality and scope of the fall.
4. To deepen the appreciation of God’s gifts in all of life.
5. To better understand the culture in which we live and how to apply the Christian worldview to all of life.
6. To be prepared to give honest answers to honest questions.
7. The need for the reformation of the modern church.
We are evangelical
Like other Protestants we hold to the five solas by which the gospel message was summarized at the time of the Reformation, and which continue to be true today.
Sola Fide - salvation is by faith alone in Christ alone.
Sola Gratia - salvation is by grace alone.
Sola Christo - salvation is through Christ alone.
Sola Scriptura - the Bible is the only inspired and authoritative Word of God and is accessible to all.
Sola Deo Gloria - all the glory for our salvation belongs to God alone.
